Antonio from Itlay posted a "five weird habits of your cat" meme on his blog, An Cat Dubh. I found it amusing; and seeing as I have a pretty kooky cat,Spot, I thought I'd share some of her quirks. She’s 18 years old now and getting wierder and wierder. My personal opinion is that she is going deaf and senile.


1. She wants you to give her food about five times a day, and most of those times she only licks the juice off the food.
2. She finds it necessary to “help” you with your tasks by sitting directly on the paper you are reading, or sitting on the keyboard while you are at the computer, or jumping on your paint pallet.
3. When you enter the living room, she flops down on the carpet, lays on her side, and stares at you till you give her a belly rub.
4. She loves the smell of onions, so if you’re using them while cooking, she’ll hang out at your feet.
5. Spot will not let you talk on the phone or to the person in the room without her getting her opinion on the matter in. Non-stop mewing.

Once again, it only took four days to find a new job, got hired last night. Yee-haw! Back in the bar business again, somebody shoot me. please.

postscript: I ended up finding a house painting job, so I didn't have to go back to the bar business after all. Phew. Then that didn't work out, and I quite possibly have a job at a paint and autobody shop. So excited!

postcript 2: Back at the bar afterall. At least there's something to fall back on. :)

Can't believe it's been two months since I've posted. Wild! Time flies! All kinds of crazy things have happened and gone through my head since then, but nothing I can lasso down and share at the moment. Hi everybody who checks the site often... I know... empty promises of writing...but I'll come up with something soon. But in the meantime....
