The bogside!
Have you been there recently? Are these photos from your last trip to Northern Ireland?
It's always a great emotion to see those murales...
I noticed you were driving. How does it feel to an American to drive such small cars? How does it feel to drive on the left side of the road?

Hi Lisa,
I'm leaving this comment to tell you that I put a small restriction to comments in my blog. An anonymous guy used to let insulting comments in my post so I set a new rule: those who feel to comment my posts need to be registered and logged in with the blog platform. If you want to say your opinion on my pages you have to register. It's easy, free and you can link your profile to your blog.
Sorry about that!
Antonio

Thanx for the heads-up, I think I tried to log onto splinder once, but it is all in Italian, so I couldn't understand it all. Maybe I'll try again, but either way, I'll still check you out.
It's actually the Waterside here, my gran's neighborhood. I was feeling homesick, and started googling neighborhoods in Derry and found these 'before and after' pics. The new murals were there on my last visit, but I remember it as the first pic the most.

oh yeah, and I haven't actually driven in the UK yet, but I study traffic and the roads every time I go. I can't wait to try it out, although I have a feeling I'll probably circle a roundabout ten times before I feel it's safe enough to exit :)
