There's a flourishing market of painted stones over here.
Mainly they represent sleeping cats or dogs :-)

Thanks for the link. Those are really cool paintings. I've been trying to come up with ideas to experiment with, looking for something other than canvas to paint on. The rock thing is cool. My mom started out painting on coconut shells in Puerto Rico when she was young. Endless possibilities!
