D.O.A.

Just finished watching "D.O.A.", a 'film noir' made in 1949. I absolutely loved it!! The poisoning thing cracked me up during the film. "Tell them to prepare a stomach wash for Luminous poisoning." Luminous poisoning?!? The doctor showed the dude the test tube and turned off the light, and it was glowing in the dark. So then, at the end of the film, it had this little note saying that the "Luminous toxin" was a legit poison (signed doctor such and such). Ha Ha. It was real after all, or so they say....maybe there's a different name for it these days. "Plutonium, love it....hate it...." -Anne Waldman's song/poem.
